As if their image problem wasn't enough, Gibson is being investigated for having illegally harvested wood for their guitars. The floods hit Gibson hard, so this is another in the way of bad news.
I hope that things recover for Gibson so that they can go back to making world class Les Pauls and Strats. Isn't what what we love them for anyway?

Two of my favorite guitar makers
Two of my favorite guitar makers happen to be Paul Reed Smith guitars and Fret-King guitars. Both are constructed with meticulous engineering and attention to detail. Recently I was reading on the UK Top Rated Guitars blog about PRS guitars. Tim Warrior describes all of the beauty of the instruments that they produce.
I really liked the videos that take you through the factory tour and showing you some great background history about the various models. Guitar players have been enjoying these spectacular axes for a long time now, even though relatively speaking Paul Reed Smith is a newer company when compared to say Gibson.
